In a move that could be described as an elaborate game of legal hopscotch, the Trump administration has reportedly circumvented a federal judge’s injunction aimed at halting deportations. The administration allegedly employed the Department of Defense (DOD) as a workaround, executing deportations through this branch of government, which, intriguingly, was not mentioned in the judge’s ruling against the Department of Homeland Security (DHS).
This legal maneuvering comes in the context of an ongoing battle with various “rogue judges” across the United States, whom some allege are thwarting the administration’s attempts to remove violent undocumented immigrants from the country. Additionally, there have been claims that multiple judges have faced arrest and charges after being implicated by the FBI for aiding illegal aliens in evading arrests by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).
