According to White House physician Sean Barbabella, President Trump “is in outstanding health” following a “semiannual physical examination” at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center on Friday.

After undergoing advanced imaging, laboratory assessments, and preventive evaluations, Trump received a clean bill of health on Friday evening, with experts noting that his cardiac health is impressively 14 years younger than his chronological age of 79.

In preparation for his upcoming trip to the Middle East, Trump also received several vaccinations, including his annual flu shot and a COVID-19 booster, as highlighted in Barbabella’s memo..

“President Trump exhibits excellent overall health,” stated the physician.

“He consistently maintains a rigorous daily routine without limitations. President Donald J. Trump continues to be in exceptional health with strong outcomes in cardiovascular, pulmonary, neurological, and physical fitness.”

Barbabella also reported that Trump’s blood work was “exceptional,” indicating “stable metabolic, hematologic, and cardiac parameters.” The Navy captain clarified that the evaluations involved input from top academic and medical consultants to ensure his cardiovascular wellness and overall health.

This positive health assessment comes six months after Barbabella affirmed in April that Trump was “fully fit” to serve as commander in chief, citing his active lifestyle and “frequent victories in golf tournaments.”

During that time, Trump famously boasted to reporters about excelling in a cognitive test while taking a subtle jab at former President Joe Biden, who had encountered criticism regarding his notable cognitive decline during his presidency.

Barbabella indicated that Trump achieved a score of “normal” 30 out of 30.

Three months later, in July, the  Republican was diagnosed with chronic venous insufficiency, a condition affecting blood circulation, after noticing some “mild swelling” in his lower legs.

This condition is frequently seen in individuals with a sedentary lifestyle and  occurs when veins become engorged with blood, preventing proper return to the heart.

Medical professionals advise that common treatments for chronic venous insufficiency include wearing compression garments and enhancing physical activity to boost blood circulation.

Since launching his campaign in 2016, Trump has consistently made his doctors’ optimistic health assessments available to the public.
