Tyrese Gibson has a warrant issued for his arrest after one of his Cane Corso mastiffs allegedly attacked and killed a neighbor’s dog. Currently, he is fully complying with legal obligations as he works to resolve this issue in Atlanta.

Gabe Banks, of Banks Weaver Law Firm, who represents Tyrese, issued a statement on Tuesday. In it, he conveyed, “Mr. Gibson wishes to express his heartfelt condolences to the family mourning their pet. This tragic event occurred during Mr. Gibson’s absence from home. Upon recognizing the gravity of the situation, he made the responsible choice to rehome his dogs in a secure and caring environment.”

In a related announcement, Fulton County Police Animal Services Captain Nicole Dwyer revealed the existence of the warrant, indicating alleged negligence on the part of the actor known for “Fast & Furious.” Authorities have attempted to execute the arrest at his residence this month, a situation Tyrese claims he is managing as it unfolds.

Tyrese’s attorney further stated, “Regarding the misdemeanor warrant, Mr. Gibson is fully cooperating with authorities in a bid to responsibly resolve this issue. He respectfully requests privacy and understanding while this matter is being processed through the appropriate legal channels, emphasizing his commitment to community safety and the welfare of all pets involved.”
