Upside Down World: European Peace Movement Marches in Support of President Trump as “Anti”-Fascists Rally Against Peace |

While President Trump engages with President Volodymyr Zelensky and other global leaders in Rome, seeking to end the ongoing conflict in Ukraine, an unexpected shift is unfolding within the European peace movement. This transformation appears to align with Trump’s assertive diplomatic efforts, despite protests from Antifa street groups who label the peace advocates as “Nazis.”

As a reporter for Gateway Pundit, I’ve witnessed a plethora of bizarre events, but this spectacle takes the proverbial cake.

It’s as though reality has flipped on its head: At a recent peace rally in Munich, approximately 2,500 predominantly free-spirited, long-haired activists marched in favor of President Trump’s initiatives, while a contingent of black-clad Antifa members stood by, deriding them and brandishing accusatory gestures.

The current German peace movement has largely emerged from protests against COVID-19 lockdowns that began in 2020, attracting primarily disillusioned older activists who feel abandoned by the increasingly pro-vaccine, pro-war Green Party, which has suffered a significant decline in support after the government fell shortly after Trump’s election.

These individuals could easily be mistaken for attendees at a Grateful Dead reunion in Santa Cruz.

Now, however, they don MAGA hats and wave American flags!

On an ordinary day, donning a MAGA hat in Germany might be equated with wearing a Klan hood in Harlem.

But that seems to have changed.

“We truly appreciate the energy emerging from the USA,” remarked one peace marcher sporting a MAGA hat to Gateway Pundit. “We’d love to see some of that enthusiasm translate to Europe as well.”

As the march passed a taxpayer-funded leftist “cultural center,” a small assembly of Antifa members congregated outside to hurl insults at the peaceniks, labeling them as “Nazis” and chanting the juvenile rallying cry, “Alerta, Alerta, Antifascista.”

One can only hope that these misguided youths eventually recognize that they have morphed into the pro-establishment, pro-war faction they once sought to oppose.
