During a conversation on War Room with Steve Bannon, Dr. Naomi Wolf delved into the topic of tech oligarchs’ plans to implement AI in replacing human workers.
“You are currently in India, gaining insights into artificial intelligence, would you say it’s an eye-opening experience, ma’am?” Bannon inquired.
“The observations I’ve made in the past two days here at the India Today conclave in Delhi have been truly remarkable,” Wolf shared.
“They are envisioning a world vastly different from our current reality,” Wolf continued.
“The individuals managing AI development are exuberant and confident about the power they hold, believing they have already secured victory in this technological revolution,” Wolf remarked.
“The pace of change with this technology is so rapid that it’s not a matter of months, but rather weeks and days for significant transformations,” Wolf cautioned.
“Their preparations and strategies revolve around a future where human workers are nearly obsolete,” Wolf added.
Dr. Wolf highlighted that the impact of AI replacing jobs extends across various professions, not limited to a single sector.
“This isn’t confined to a single industry; it spans across all sectors. Discussions included AI potentially taking over roles of teachers and graduate students at prestigious institutions like Harvard,” Wolf pointed out.
“We also heard about AI advancements in healthcare potentially displacing nurses,” Wolf added.
“It’s crucial for people to realize that this isn’t a distant futuristic scenario; it’s more imminent, where a significant portion of the workforce, including roles in coding, FAA, real estate, and healthcare, could lose their relevance,” Wolf warned.
“These insiders envision a society where the majority lacks a defined role as traditional workers,” Wolf emphasized.
Dr. Wolf stressed the necessity for the United States to develop its own sovereign AI capabilities.
“The control over AI is paramount; it can’t solely be entrusted to the private sector. The nation possessing superior AI ultimately gains supremacy and dominance. Thus, there is a global competition among governments to establish and own their AI systems,” Wolf elaborated.
“The imperative lies in securing our own sovereign AI,” Wolf reiterated.
