A shocking video has surfaced showing a young woman being violently attacked and kidnapped in broad daylight in California. The incident took place on 98th Street in Oakland at around 3:30 p.m. on a Tuesday. The victim, believed to be in her early 20s, was walking when a man tried to hit her with his car. He then got out of the vehicle and started punching her repeatedly before dragging her into his car as she screamed for help.
Despite the woman’s cries for assistance, several cars passed by without intervening. The attacker quickly forced the victim into his car and drove off. The car used in the kidnapping was later found abandoned, as it had been stolen.
Oakland police Captain Nicholas Calonge stated that this kidnapping did not seem random and appeared to be personally motivated. Investigators are exploring all possible connections that may have led to this disturbing incident.
The victim, who was wearing a light-colored hoodie and jeans with braided hair, remains unidentified. The suspect, described as a man in his early 20s, has a distinctive scar or mark on his left cheek. He was last seen wearing a black hoodie with a white logo on the back, blue jeans, and white shoes.
