After losing the WWE Women’s Championship to Jade Cargill in November last year, Tiffany Stratton returned at the 2026 Royal Rumble. She was the last participant to be eliminated by the eventual winner, Liv Morgan.
Subsequently, she competed in the 2026 Women’s Elimination Chamber Match, finishing as runner-up once more.
Tiffany Stratton will face Giulia on SmackDown
In this week’s SmackDown episode, Tiffany Stratton is set to compete against the Women’s United States Champion, Giulia, in a non-title match. This bout was initially announced as a title match but was later changed to a non-title contest.
Stratton defeated The Beautiful Madness’ partner, Kiana James, two weeks ago. A victory over the Japanese star this Friday could earn her a title shot. Giulia has defended the Women’s US Title only once since winning it in January.
The 32-year-old is seeking a significant storyline heading into WrestleMania 42. Her second reign as Women’s US Champion has not met expectations, much like her first.
Giulia has also ventured into the tag team division with Kiana, though they failed to capture the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship. Meanwhile, the Women’s Intercontinental Title will be defended at The Show of Shows, with AJ Lee facing Becky Lynch. It remains to be seen if the Triple H-led creative team will similarly spotlight the Women’s US Title.
