Two Aurora men were taken into custody last week after authorities uncovered over 17,000 images and videos depicting child sexual abuse in their residences, as per police reports.

Orlando Archuleta, aged 54, was apprehended and charged with five felony counts of child sexual exploitation, according to records from Arapahoe County court. More than 15,000 images of child sexual abuse were discovered on his electronic devices during a search, as mentioned in a press release from the Aurora Police Department.

Dzhamshed Yusupov, aged 38, is facing seven similar charges, according to court documents. Authorities found 69 images and over 2,600 videos on his confiscated gadgets, police disclosed.

As of last Thursday, both individuals had paid a $10,000 bail, according to court records.

“Every single image and video represents the exploitation of a real child,” stated Aurora Police Department Investigations Bureau Commander Marc Paolino in the press release. “These are not just files or data; they are innocent victims who deserve protection, respect, and justice.”

Aurora detectives received leads on both cases from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children in early 2025, identifying online accounts in Aurora sharing or possessing child sexual abuse material, as per police reports.

The IP addresses of the accounts were then traced back to the residences of Yusupov and Archuleta, authorities mentioned.

Yusupov is scheduled to appear in Arapahoe County District Court on February 25 for a preliminary hearing, according to court records. Archuleta’s next court appearance is slated for March 2.

According to the Aurora Police Department, the investigations are ongoing. Individuals with any information are urged to contact Metro Denver Crime Stoppers at 720-913-7867.
