Temple Muse, a luxury retailer, recently hosted an exclusive presentation of Kilentar’s latest collection for spring 2026. The event was a showcase of creativity and craftsmanship, with founder and creative director Michelle Adepoju unveiling the collection titled “Súrùlérè,” which translates to “patience is rewarding” in Yoruba. Adepoju poured her heart and soul into the “Súrùlérè” collection, evident in the intricate hand-beaded garments and handwoven traditional textiles that adorned the models on podiums. One of the standout pieces from the collection is a vibrant yellow Akwete corset dress featuring intricate lace and raffia detailing. Another highlight is a multi-toned beaded V-neck top paired with a stylish brown mini skirt. Adepoju emphasized the importance of setting your own rules as a designer and not conforming to industry norms. “As a brand owner, as a fashion designer, you are allowed to make your own rules. The world will adjust,” she asserted.
