Trump Slams CNN Host Erin Burnett
The former reality star, Donald Trump, recently made headlines for his controversial comments about immigrants, claiming they were “poisoning the blood of our country.” When CNN host Erin Burnett pushed back against his statements, Trump didn’t hold back.
In a social media post, Trump attacked Burnett, referring to her as “Ratings challenged Erin Burnett, the Fake News CNN Host(ess?) who is constantly and very boringly reporting false and semi-inflammatory stories about your favorite President.” He went on to accuse her of repeatedly trying to get on his show, The Apprentice, which he described as “a ratings phenomenon.”
Trump claimed that Burnett would do anything to be on the show, and although he allowed her on a few times, her persistence eventually led him to decline any future appearances. He criticized her intelligence and referred to her as “very boring,” similar to how he perceives her current show, which he predicted would be canceled soon.
Despite the harsh words, Trump ended his post with a dismissive tone, stating, “Anyway, just saying.” The feud between Trump and Burnett serves as another example of the ongoing tensions between the former president and the media.
