The mother-in-law of music producer Benny Blanco, Sandra Beth Levin, had a terrifying experience when two thugs smashed into her house in Studio City. The incident occurred on Monday night when Levin heard the sound of breaking glass and immediately sought refuge in a bathroom as the intruders made their way through the house.
According to police reports, Levin heard multiple people moving around the house and eventually peeked out to see two masked figures prowling the premises. The suspects fled when they realized she was inside the house. Fortunately, no injuries were reported, and it is unclear if anything was stolen during the break-in.
Law enforcement officers found broken glass at the scene, but the suspects had already fled by the time they arrived. The $3 million home, owned by Blanco’s parents Sandra and Andrew Levin, was the target of the burglary. Blanco, known for his Grammy Award nominations, recently collaborated with Selena Gomez on the song “Bluest Flame.”
Blanco and Gomez tied the knot in September after celebrating with bachelor and bachelorette parties in Mexico and Las Vegas, respectively. The couple exchanged vows at a star-studded ceremony in Santa Barbara. Blanco’s mother, Sandra Beth Levin, has a background in working at an assisted living facility, while his father had a career in the intimate apparel business.
The incident at Sandra Beth Levin’s home has raised concerns about the safety and security of high-profile individuals like Blanco and Gomez. Despite the frightening experience, Levin was unharmed, and authorities are investigating the break-in to ensure the safety of the family in the future.
