Breiden Fehoko, a former college teammate of Joe Burrow, recently made headlines with his scathing criticism of Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson. In a bold tweet, the retired Steelers nose tackle declared that the Ravens have no chance of winning the Super Bowl as long as Jackson remains their starting quarterback. Fehoko went on to compare the two-time NFL MVP to the legendary Michael Vick, stating that Jackson’s individual regular season accolades will never translate to postseason success.

Jackson, who is currently in his eighth season with the Ravens, has been plagued by injuries this year. A hamstring injury suffered during their Week 4 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs sidelined him for three games. Despite returning in Week 9 and leading his team to a victory over the Miami Dolphins, Jackson’s performance on the field has been inconsistent. The quarterback missed two Wednesday trainings recently, leading to underwhelming performances against the Cleveland Browns and the New York Jets where he failed to throw any touchdowns.

In eight games this season, Jackson has amassed 1,595 passing yards and 15 touchdowns, along with 237 rushing yards and one touchdown. The Ravens currently hold the top spot in the AFC North with a 6-5 record.

However, Jackson’s struggles continued in Week 13 against the Cincinnati Bengals. With the Ravens trailing 26-14 in the fourth quarter, Jackson had yet to score a touchdown for his team. Despite completing 12 of 21 passes for 205 yards, the Ravens relied on rushing touchdowns from Derrick Henry and Keaton Mitchell to stay in the game. Meanwhile, Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow had a solid performance with 21 completions out of 42 attempts for 240 yards and two touchdowns.

If the Bengals secure a win, they will break their four-game losing streak and improve to a 4-8 record. On the other hand, a loss for the Ravens would drop them to a 6-6 record, giving the Pittsburgh Steelers a chance to claim the top spot in the AFC North with a win against the Bills on Sunday.

In conclusion, Lamar Jackson’s performance and the Ravens’ playoff hopes hang in the balance as they face a tough challenge against the Bengals. Fehoko’s criticism adds to the pressure on Jackson to deliver when it matters most, and only time will tell if he can silence his doubters and lead the Ravens to postseason success.
