How do you deal with the negativity online?
I try not to take it too seriously. I think that’s the key. I know who I am, I know what I’m good at, and I know that I’m not going to be everyone’s cup of tea. And I’m fine with that. I think once you accept that, it’s easier to brush off the negativity. But it’s not easy, it still affects me. I’m only human.
You’re making your acting debut in “The Gentlemen” this year. How did that opportunity come about?
I auditioned for the role and honestly thought I had no chance. But then they called me back and said they loved my tape and wanted me to come in for a chemistry read with Kaya [Scodelario]. I was so nervous, but she was so lovely and made me feel really comfortable. And then I got the role! It’s been a dream come true, and I can’t wait for everyone to see it.
Are you planning to pursue more acting roles in the future?
Definitely. I’m so excited to see where this new chapter takes me. Acting has always been a passion of mine, and now that I’ve dipped my toes back into it, I can’t wait to dive in headfirst. Hopefully, “The Gentlemen” is just the beginning of my acting career.
How long do you see yourself hosting “Love Island”?
As long as they’ll have me! I love hosting the show, and I feel like I’ve really found my groove with it. It’s such a fun and exciting opportunity, and I hope to continue doing it for as long as possible.
What’s the dream acting role for you?
I would love to do a period drama. Something like “Downton Abbey” or “Bridgerton.” I think it would be so much fun to transport myself to a different time and really dive into a character from a different era. That’s definitely the dream for me.

Honestly, it was just a dream come true working on that set. It was my first acting job, and to be surrounded by such talented and experienced actors and a legendary director like Guy Ritchie was such a surreal experience. It’s definitely a challenge, but I’m fortunate to have a great team that helps me manage my schedule. I try to prioritize my commitments and make time for auditions and acting classes whenever I can. It’s all about finding that balance and making sure I give my best to both my hosting career and my acting dreams.
Do you have any other acting projects in the pipeline?
There are a few things in the works, but nothing I can talk about just yet. I’m excited to explore more opportunities in the acting world and see where it takes me. I’m just grateful for the chance to pursue my passion and continue growing as an artist.
