FBI Releases Images of Person of Interest in Nancy Guthrie Kidnapping Case
FBI agents have finally released images of a person of interest approaching Nancy Guthrie’s Tucson, Arizona, home, more than a week after her abduction. The unidentified man took great care to conceal his identity, wearing nondescript clothing, gloves, and a heavy ski mask that covered his face completely.
Criminal justice expert Kevin Hale analyzed the released images and shared his insights with Radar. He noted that the suspect appeared to be right-handed and was seen holding a flashlight. Hale also pointed out that the positioning of the gun/holster was unconventional, as it was holstered in the middle of the suspect’s waist instead of the typical location on the side in the back waistband.
“The person likely put some thought into this event,” Hale said. “The full facial covering with a ski mask is a bit unusual, especially considering the normal temperature in Tucson. There are lighter material masks available, so the choice of a heavy ski mask could suggest premeditation.”
The release of these images is a crucial step in the investigation into Nancy Guthrie’s kidnapping. The FBI is urging anyone with information about the person of interest to come forward and assist in bringing Guthrie home safely.
