Trump’s Former White House Chef Hopes Prez Eats Healthier This Time Around

Donald Trump’s return to the White House has sparked concerns about his diet, with his former chef urging him to prioritize healthier eating habits. Chef Andre Rush, who has previously served in the administrations of Bill Clinton, George W. Bush, and Barack Obama, emphasized the importance of Trump consuming nutritious meals to maintain his health at the age of 78.

Rush highlighted the need for Trump to make better dietary choices, especially considering the physical demands of his role. He expressed hope that the kitchen staff would be creative in preparing tasty yet healthy dishes to encourage Trump to adopt a more balanced diet.

During Trump’s previous tenure, Rush noted the former president’s fondness for burgers, steaks, tacos, and meatloaf, often accompanied by a Diet Coke. Despite Trump’s preference for classic American dishes, Rush emphasized the importance of incorporating more nutritious options into his meals.

One of Trump’s favorite dishes was salmon, a healthier alternative to fast food. Rush hoped that Trump would continue to enjoy this dish and reduce his consumption of unhealthy options. Although Trump rarely ate breakfast or lunch, Rush recalled the president’s appreciation for salmon and his willingness to try new dishes.

In the past, Trump had a penchant for fast food, but Rush never received any requests to recreate McDonald’s-style burgers. Rush made it clear that he would have declined such requests, emphasizing the importance of avoiding junk food in favor of healthier alternatives.

Despite any dietary challenges, Rush praised Trump for his friendly demeanor and appreciation for the kitchen staff. He believed that Trump’s positive interactions with the cooks would continue, even if they had to sneak vegetables into his meals. Overall, Rush emphasized the need for Trump to prioritize his health through better eating habits, urging him to make conscious choices for his well-being.
