The late former One Direction singer, Liam Payne, tragically had a deadly mix of drugs in his system at the time of his death, according to toxicology reports. The substances found included “pink cocaine,” benzodiazepine, cocaine, and crack.

Bill Bodner, a former DEA agent, shed light on the components of “pink cocaine.” He explained that the drug typically consists of ketamine, a dissociative drug that can make individuals feel disconnected from reality, as well as psychedelics. The drug gets its name from its bright pink color, often achieved through the use of food coloring and sometimes strawberry flavoring. It can be consumed through inhalation or in pill form.

On the streets, “pink cocaine” is known by names such as “tusi” or “tuci” and acts as both a stimulant and a depressant, leading to a range of effects on the user.
