California police pursue kidnapping suspect in Los Angeles

On Wednesday morning, a high-speed police chase across Southern California concluded when authorities apprehended a man after halting a white minivan on the 91 Freeway.

According to footage from FOX 11, the California Highway Patrol was seen chasing the vehicle, ultimately stopping it around 8 a.m.

After exiting the driver’s seat, a man dressed in blue shorts, a white T-shirt, and a hat was subdued by at least two officers and handcuffed.

Shortly after, a male juvenile emerged from the minivan as officers worked to secure the area.

The relationship between the man and the child is unclear, as is whether the child was abducted.

Authorities have not disclosed what initiated the pursuit or the connection between the individuals involved.

The California Highway Patrol and the Anaheim Police Department, which also responded to the incident, have been contacted by The Post for further details.
