Amal Clooney, wife of the renowned actor George Clooney, may soon find herself facing a travel ban to the United States.
According to a report from The Financial Times, the Trump administration is considering sanctions against Clooney due to her advisory role with the International Criminal Court (ICC) concerning allegations of crimes against humanity in relation to Israel’s actions in Gaza.

The UK Foreign Office has alerted senior British lawyers, including Clooney, that they risk being sanctioned by the Trump administration for their counsel to the ICC regarding Israel’s activities in Gaza.
Several prominent lawyers involved in the ICC’s investigation into potential war crimes by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant have received stern warnings from the British Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office, according to sources familiar with the situation.
In February, President Donald Trump signed an executive order targeting ICC prosecutor Karim Khan with sanctions, signaling that additional punitive measures could be imposed on those deemed accountable for the ICC’s alleged missteps.
These sanctions entail freezing assets and property as well as barring entry into the U.S.
