The lengths to which Democrats will go to counter Trump’s assertions are, quite frankly, astonishing.
Currently, they are asserting that claims of genocide in South Africa are fabrications, attributing such statements to Trump’s imagination.
Well, would you look at that! The images Trump showcased in the Oval Office regarding “genocide” in South Africa actually originated from the Republic of Congo, which is 2,900 miles away. He is a pathological liar. When will MAGA realize this???

On social media, numerous Democrats are fixating intensely on a cover image from one of the multiple articles referenced by the President, which highlights violent acts occurring in South Africa. Ironically, even CNN notes,
“The blog post shown to Ramaphosa by Trump during the White House meeting was published by American Thinker, a conservative online platform, discussing conflict and racial tensions in South Africa and Congo… the post criticized what it termed Ramaphosa’s ‘dysfunctional, race-obsessed Marxist government’ and pointed out the mounting pressures faced by white South Africans.”
President Trump presented a tangible collection of incidents illustrating attacks and discrimination against white South Africans.
This is undoubtedly one of the most significant moments in presidential history.
Donald Trump inquired what it would take for him to be convinced that no white genocide is occurring in South Africa.

South Africa possesses one of the highest murder rates globally, with approximately half a million individuals murdered since the end of apartheid. Some estimates suggest that nearly a quarter of these victims, especially in the early years of the current regime, were white. However, verifying this claim has proven challenging due to the absence of race-specific data in official crime statistics.
Assaults on white-owned farms, including theft, rape, assault, and murder, are well documented. Since 1994, there have been approximately 3,398 farm murders, many involving white farmers. In 2024 alone, South Africa recorded nearly 20,000 homicides, which included 32 farm-related murders and 256 farm attacks, most of which targeted white farming families. These statistics indicate a disproportionate threat faced by white South Africans.
In their fervor to oppose Trump, the left seems prepared to defend overtly racist acts and what many observers believe could be the early signs of genocide.
