ICE Raids Spark Protests in Downtown Los Angeles
On Friday, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents descended upon several businesses in downtown Los Angeles, including a Home Depot, conducting immigration enforcement operations. The raids resulted in multiple detentions.
As federal agents carried out their duties, far-left protesters clashed with them, leading to a chaotic scene where projectiles were hurled, and attempts were made to block ICE vans from exiting the area.
Some protesters even resorted to throwing eggs at the agents. The atmosphere escalated to such a degree that the FBI was called to the scene to manage the situation.

Immigration enforcement agents conducted raids throughout Los Angeles on Friday, prompting protests that ultimately escalated into confrontation with authorities.
In one instance, a large crowd attempted to impede the movement of ICE vans following the detention of several individuals. Protesters were observed throwing various objects at the vehicles, with one individual narrowly avoiding serious injury after falling in front of a moving van.
The raids took place at two distinct locations in the morning, notably at a Home Depot in the Westlake District. Eyewitness accounts indicated that several detainees included street food vendors among other individuals.
