FBI Offers Reward After Protester Fires on ICE Agents During Marijuana Farm Raid
Late Thursday evening, Interim U.S. Attorney for the Central District of California, Bill Essayli, announced that the FBI is offering a $50,000 reward for information leading to the identification and conviction of a masked individual who allegedly discharged a handgun at ICE agents during a raid on a marijuana farm in Camarillo, California. This raid, which took place on Thursday afternoon, resulted in the discovery of several illegal alien children working at the farm.
Fortunately, reports indicate that no one was injured during this incident, which marks the third occasion within a week that ICE agents have faced gunfire while performing their duties.
In the wake of the incident, the FBI tweeted, “FBI has issued a $50,000 reward for information leading to the conviction of an Unknown Subject who appeared to fire a pistol at Federal Law Enforcement Officers near Camarillo. Video footage of the shooting was subsequently released by KABC-YV:
Federal authorities executed raids on two marijuana farms owned by Glass House Farms located in Camarillo and Carpinteria.
Pro-illegal immigrant activists had been alerted to the raids and encouraged to converge on the farms by various activist organizations.
KSBW-TV captured aerial footage illustrating the extensive nature of the operation:
In response to California Governor Gavin Newsom’s criticism of the raids, Customs and Border Protection Commissioner Rodney Scott revealed that ten illegal alien minors were found working at the marijuana farm, stating, “Here’s some breaking news: 10 juveniles were found at this marijuana facility – all illegal aliens, 8 of them unaccompanied. It’s now under investigation for child labor violations. This is Newsom’s California.”

Earlier, Melugin had reported that the ongoing ICE and Border Patrol raid at the marijuana farm could lead to numerous arrests, stating, “BREAKING: Regarding the ongoing ICE & Border Patrol raid at a marijuana farm in Camarillo: Three senior federal officials tell me that DHS has a criminal judicial search warrant signed off on by a federal judge for 8 USC 1324, harboring of illegal aliens. I’m told the operation is ongoing, and will likely result in ‘hundreds’ of arrests when the dust settles, making it potentially one of the largest single operations we’ve seen during the Trump administration. I’m told HSI obtained evidence that Glasshouse Farms is employing illegal aliens. They went to a federal judge, and the judge signed a warrant for them to go in.”
