African stories and innovative ideas will take center stage at the upcoming Lagos edition of AfroTalks, scheduled for October 11, 2025. This year’s theme, “Matrix,”, invites participants to explore the intricate political, cultural, and economic frameworks shaping the continent’s future.

As a platform dedicated to amplifying African narratives and fostering impactful solutions, AfroTalks has transformed into a significant collaborative space. The Lagos event continues a legacy of insightful discussions focused on the synergy between entrepreneurship, culture, and social change.

The speaker lineup exemplifies AfroTalks’ commitment to an interdisciplinary perspective. Nigerian filmmaker Peace Hyde will discuss the critical role of storytelling in defining cultural identity. Legal expert Tatiuana Holland, based in the U.S., will bridge the gap between African issues and global legal frameworks. Mariama Jalloh, a fintech advisor from Sierra Leone, will delve into the intersection of technology and financial inclusion. Furthermore, Dr. Ashley Milton from Ghana, CEO of She Grows It, alongside Diallo Sumbry, CEO of The Adinkra Group, will explore essential strategies for building a prosperous Africa through the Triangle Offence Policy. Nigerian animator Somto Ajuluchukwu will highlight the vibrant potential of Africa’s creative industry, while Nigerian architect James Inedu-George, CEO of HTL Africa, will discuss sustainable urban design for the future.

Beyond keynote speeches and engaging panel discussions, the event will also feature AfroPitch, providing a platform for innovators and startups to showcase their ideas to potential investors and collaborators. This initiative embodies AfroTalks’ mission to translate conversations into actionable solutions for Africa’s pressing challenges.
