Challenges Faced by All-In Podcast Tequila Brand in Fulfilling Orders

The hosts of the renowned All-In podcast created quite a buzz when they introduced their own tequila brand at a lavish party last June. The $1,200 bottles of Besties All-In tequila sold out in no time, but the process of delivering them to customers has hit some roadblocks.

After a wait of almost five months, the eagerly awaited shipments of Besties All-In tequila finally commenced last week, as per Jason Calacanis, one of the podcast hosts.

The delay was primarily attributed to the unique design of the bottle, according to Calacanis. The handcrafted bottles, fashioned to resemble a stack of illuminated poker chips, took longer than anticipated to produce. The design pays homage to poker, a favorite pastime of the podcast hosts besides indulging in tequila.

Customers who pre-ordered the tequila were initially informed that they would receive their bottles by the end of summer. However, as the season passed, delivery deadlines were repeatedly pushed back, causing frustration among buyers who had not only shelled out $1,200 per bottle but also paid additional taxes and fees.

A JS reader shared that delivery dates were rescheduled multiple times, with promises of October, November, and even a vague “after November” timeline, as indicated in a communication from Flaviar, the distributor handling the shipments.

Both the tequila brand’s official website and Flaviar’s correspondence reflected the changing timelines, initially pledging end-of-summer deliveries but later updating to shipments commencing in November, with deliveries occurring in batches.

While the exact duration for completing all orders remains uncertain, the good news is that shipments have begun, shedding light on the reasons for the delay. Hopefully, enthusiasts of the All-In podcast hosts and their tequila brand will be able to enjoy the exquisite, handcrafted liquor during the upcoming holiday season.
