The 2025 American Music Awards is set to be a night filled with special moments that celebrate veterans and raise funds for organizations supporting them. Hosted by Jennifer Lopez, the show will partner with the Easy Day Foundation to highlight the contributions of artists who support the veteran community.
Taking place during Military Appreciation Month, the American Music Awards x Easy Day partnership will include performances and the presentation of a special award to an artist who advocates for veterans. The fundraising efforts will benefit various veteran service organizations such as the Bob Woodruff Foundation, Boot Campaign, and the Congressional Medal of Honor Society, among others. A portion of ticket sales will go towards the Easy Day Foundation and its partners, with special seating reserved for veteran attendees.
The Easy Day Foundation, founded by Frank Fertitta IV and Landon Gyulay, is dedicated to helping veterans transition to civilian life by providing essential services like mental health care, job training, and family support. Fertitta emphasizes the importance of honoring fallen heroes and raising awareness of the ongoing needs of veterans. Gyulay highlights the opportunity the partnership with the AMAs provides to amplify the mission of Easy Day and support veterans nationwide.
Gerry Byrne, vice chairman of Penske Media Corporation and a Marine Corps Vietnam combat veteran, expresses gratitude for the opportunity to spotlight veterans through the partnership. The AMAs will shed light on the challenges veterans face during their transition to civilian life and the support systems necessary to help them.
In addition to the focus on veterans, the 2025 American Music Awards will see Kendrick Lamar leading the nominations with 10 nods, followed by Post Malone with eight nominations. Billie Eilish, Chappell Roan, and Shaboozey are tied for third place with seven nominations each.
The collaboration between the AMAs and the Easy Day Foundation promises to be a night of celebration, advocacy, and support for the brave men and women who have served our country. Stay tuned for a memorable evening of music and meaningful moments on May 26th.
