Andy Cohen has shared his thoughts on the ongoing turmoil involving Wendy and Eddie Osefo, describing the felony allegations as “deeply saddening.”
The Bravo TV host discussed the couple’s arrests during the latest episode of his SiriusXM show “Andy Cohen Live,” expressing that he was taken aback by the charges, much like many others.
Cohen elaborated on his feelings, expressing he feels “really sad” for the situation and reiterated his admiration for Wendy, praising her as an admirable housewife and role model.
He concluded by wishing both Wendy and Eddie well, hoping their legal struggles turn out to be “just a big nothing burger.”
As previously reported, Wendy and Eddie were arrested last Thursday evening in Maryland for allegedly fabricating a burglary claim at their residence.
They reportedly informed authorities that expensive bags and jewelry were stolen, but police believe their claims to be deceptive, as Wendy was seen on Instagram wearing some of the items they claimed were taken, including her diamond ring.
The legal action against Wendy consists of 16 charges, including 7 felonies, while Eddie faces 18 charges with 9 felonies amongst them.
Wendy has been a part of “Real Housewives of Potomac” since Season 5. Prior to her rise to fame, she served as a college education professor at Johns Hopkins University but stepped down in 2024. Eddie is a practicing attorney who launched a cannabis brand in 2022.
