In the opening match of WrestleMania 42 on Sunday, Brock Lesnar faced a defeat against Oba Femi. Following the match, Lesnar left his boots and gloves in the center of the ring at Allegiant Stadium, bidding farewell to fans and hinting at his retirement from wrestling.

If this truly marks the end, Lesnar will be remembered as one of the all-time greats in the sport. To honor his legacy, we review The Conqueror’s history at WrestleMania. Lesnar has made 12 appearances on this grand stage, with an equal number of victories and defeats.

This listicle ranks Brock Lesnar’s WrestleMania matches from best to worst. Let’s dive into the rankings.

vs. Goldberg (WrestleMania XX)

The clash between Brock Lesnar and Goldberg at WrestleMania XX seemed promising, as both were in their prime. However, excitement waned when it was revealed that both wrestlers were leaving WWE after the event. Despite good in-ring action, fans were disinterested and protested against both men. Even Stone Cold Steve Austin’s presence couldn’t salvage the match.

vs. Omos (WrestleMania 39)

Rarely does Brock Lesnar find himself as the smaller competitor in a match, but facing the 7’3″ giant, Omos, at WrestleMania 39 was an exception. Unfortunately, what could have been an exciting “Beast vs. Giant” showdown turned into a filler bout, with Lesnar defeating Omos in under five minutes without any memorable moments.

vs. Triple H (WrestleMania 29)

At WrestleMania 29, Triple H put his career on the line against Brock Lesnar in a No Holds Barred Match. Shawn Michaels supported The Game, while Paul Heyman accompanied Lesnar. Despite some notable moments, the match suffered from slow pacing and dragged on for nearly 24 minutes. Triple H emerged victorious, but a shorter match might have improved its ranking.

vs. Roman Reigns (WrestleMania 34)

The second encounter between Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 34 was intense and hard-hitting, with a world title at stake. Even after Reigns was busted open, he continued fighting fiercely. However, the crowd was indifferent, tired of Lesnar as a part-time champion and not ready to accept Reigns as the new champion. Lesnar’s unexpected victory left fans surprised.

vs. Roman Reigns (WrestleMania 38)

Four years later, Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns faced off again at WrestleMania 38 in a “Winner Takes All” match. This time, Reigns played the heel, and Lesnar was the babyface, with Paul Heyman in Reigns’ corner. Reigns defeated Lesnar to become the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion, but the match lacked drama, and the finish felt rushed.

vs. Dean Ambrose (WrestleMania 32)

Brock Lesnar and Dean Ambrose clashed in a Street Fight at WrestleMania 32. Fans anticipated a hardcore match with creative use of weapons, considering Ambrose’s persona and the stipulation. While the match wasn’t poor, it fell short of expectations, with Lesnar defeating Ambrose with an F-5 on a pile of steel chairs.

vs. Seth Rollins (WrestleMania 35)

At WrestleMania 35, Seth Rollins aimed to conquer Brock Lesnar. However, before the bell rang, Lesnar launched a brutal attack on Rollins, putting him at a disadvantage. The official match lasted less than three minutes, with Rollins securing a win after delivering three Stomps to Lesnar. The encounter was entertaining and effectively elevated Rollins.

vs. The Undertaker (WrestleMania XXX)

This match marked the end of The Undertaker’s undefeated WrestleMania streak. Despite The Phenom suffering a concussion early in the match, the shock value of Lesnar’s victory made it unforgettable. The silent stadium after the referee’s three-count spoke volumes. Though controversial, this decision remains etched in fans’ memories.

vs. Goldberg (WrestleMania 33)

Following a surprising loss to Goldberg in 2016, Brock Lesnar sought redemption at WrestleMania 33 with the Universal Championship on the line. The match was a fast-paced, hard-hitting spectacle that exceeded expectations, with Lesnar defeating Goldberg and avenging his previous loss.

vs. Oba Femi (WrestleMania 42)

Though recent, the match between Brock Lesnar and Oba Femi captivated many fans. Despite Femi being early in his career, this was a dream match for many. Their face-off at the 2026 Men’s Royal Rumble generated significant buzz. The match was brief but impactful, with Femi proving to be a formidable opponent for Lesnar in a passing of the torch moment.

vs. Kurt Angle (WrestleMania 19)

Brock Lesnar’s rapid ascent in WWE led to his challenge against Kurt Angle for the Undisputed WWE Championship at WrestleMania 19. Both athletes, with backgrounds in amateur wrestling, delivered a classic match. Although Lesnar’s botched Shooting Star Press is often remembered, the match had much more depth, with Lesnar claiming his first world title in a spectacular display.

Brock Lesnar vs. Roman Reigns vs. Seth Rollins (WrestleMania 31)

The initial match of the Brock Lesnar vs. Roman Reigns WrestleMania series set a high standard that subsequent encounters struggled to match. Seth Rollins’ mid-match Money in the Bank cash-in, known as the “Heist of the Century,” saw him walk away with the title. While that moment is iconic, the Lesnar vs. Reigns match at WrestleMania 31 could have been an instant classic even without the cash-in. In our view, it was The Beast Incarnate’s finest performance on the grand stage.
