Cher’s Relationship with Music Executive Edwards
Cher made headlines in late 2022 when she confirmed her relationship with music executive and producer, Edwards. Edwards, who shares a son named Slash Electric Alexander Edwards with model Amber Rose, quickly captured Cher’s heart.
In a podcast interview on Armchair Expert, Cher revealed her deep affection for Edwards’ child, expressing that becoming a part of the boy’s life fulfilled a unique wish she had. She shared, “Before I met Alexander, I walked around my house saying, ‘I want a man and a toddler.'”
Speculation about an engagement between Cher and Edwards began swirling in 2023 when Cher posted a picture of a stunning teardrop-shaped diamond ring that Edwards had gifted her for Christmas. The image of the ring sparked rumors of an impending wedding between the couple.
Describing the diamond as the “best Christmas gift” she had ever received, Cher explained why she chose to wear the ring on a different finger than the traditional one. She recounted Edwards’ words, saying, “(Edwards) said to me, ‘You’re the right girl, it’s the right ring, for the right finger.’
Despite rumors resurfacing in December 2025 suggesting an upcoming wedding for Cher and Edwards, a spokesperson for the iconic singer dismissed the claims, stating, “There are absolutely no plans for a wedding in her future.”
Cher, who has been married twice before – first to Bono and later to musician Gregg Allman – has found joy and fulfillment in her relationship with Edwards, cherishing the bond they share and the love they have for each other.
