Police in New Hampshire are on the lookout for a man suspected of stealing a purse, who bears a striking resemblance to Kansas City Chiefs player Travis Kelce. Authorities have cautioned that his appearance won’t shield him from the law.
“THIS GUY allegedly took a purse from someone else’s vehicle and then freely used the credit cards inside,” stated the Salem police on Wednesday. They released an image of the suspect, who sports a bucket hat and beard, as he exited a Best Buy store.
Salem police commented, “GUESS WHAT PAL, you might resemble Travis Kelce, tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs and possibly more famously known as the fiancĂ© of Taylor Swift, but your charm and style won’t help you here!”
The department jokingly questioned, “Are we sure this isn’t Travis? Anyone know his whereabouts? Has he fallen on hard times since the Chiefs missed the playoffs?” They concluded, “No, it can’t be him. He’s a Swifty. He wouldn’t do this.”
In a light-hearted finish, the police added, “Go Pats,” nodding to the New England Patriots, who have won more Super Bowls than the Chiefs.
Meanwhile, the actual Travis Kelce is preparing to wed the “Love Story” singer. Recently, he and his friends visited the exclusive Bird Streets Club in Los Angeles.
There is growing speculation that the pair will tie the knot at Madison Square Garden in Midtown Manhattan, although Kelce remains reticent about the wedding details.
