Trump stated, “Actually, 60 Minutes paid me a lot of money. And you don’t have to put this on, because I don’t want to embarrass you, and I’m sure you’re not.”
He went on to explain, “But 60 Minutes was forced to pay me a lot of money because they removed Kamala Harris’s original answer that was so damaging, it could have changed the outcome of the election, just two nights before voting day. They replaced it with a different response. And they compensated me significantly for that. The importance of factual news cannot be understated. We must have trustworthy journalism, and I believe that change is underway.”
