Jaz Sinclair, the star of “Gen V,” has expressed her appreciation for the show’s fans and her experience on the series, following its recent cancellation as a Prime Video spinoff of “The Boys.”
In a heartfelt message on her Instagram story, Sinclair said, âThereâs so much I wanna (and will) say, but for today I just want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart. Iâm so happy youâre here, and Iâm so grateful for this incredible experience.â
In “Gen V,” Sinclair portrayed Marie Moreau, a formidable hero with the ability to control blood and manipulate muscular tissue. Her character was on a quest to uncover the secrets of Godolkin University. The second season concluded with Moreau joining the Starlighter resistance against Homelander, played by Antony Starr.
Series executive producers Eric Kripke and Evan Goldberg commented on the show’s future, stating, âWhile we wish we could keep the party going another season at Godolkin, weâre committed to continuing the âGen Vâ charactersâ stories in âThe Boysâ Season 5 and other VCU projects on the horizon. Youâll see them again.â
“Gen V” first premiered in 2023, with its second season running from September to October 2025. A source familiar with the matter revealed that characters from “Gen V” will feature in the upcoming episodes of “The Boys” fifth and final season.
The series was set at Godolkin University School of Crimefighting, where young superheroes trained to potentially join The Seven. The cast included Sinclair, Lizze Broadway, Maddie Phillips, London Thor, Derek Luh, Asa Germann, Sean Patrick Thomas, and Hamish Linklater.
As “The Boys” concludes with its current season, the only remaining in-universe production is the prequel series “Vought Rising,” which will explore the adventures of Soldier Boy (Jensen Ackles) and Stormfront (Aya Cash) in the 1950s. This series is slated to premiere in 2027.
