The 77th Emmy award season is upon us, and the excitement is building as the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences prepares to announce the official list of nominees. Set to take place on Tuesday, July 15 at 8:30 a.m. PT/11:30 a.m. ET at the Wolf Theatre in the Academy’s Saban Media Center in Los Angeles, the announcement will be live-streamed on the Academy’s website and official YouTube page for viewers to enjoy from the comfort of their homes.

The nominations will also be broadcast on social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, and TikTok, as well as the event’s Brightcove feed. The nominees will be revealed by actors Harvey Guillén (“What We Do in the Shadows”), Brenda Song (“Running Point”), and Television Academy chair Chris Abrego.

While Netflix and HBO Max are expected to lead the pack in nominations, Apple TV+ is poised to make a mark with its shows “Severance” and “The Studio,” potentially breaking its own record for Emmy nominations. Other anticipated nominees across various categories include HBO’s “The Penguin,” “The White Lotus,” “Hacks,” and “The Last Of Us,” Netflix’s “Adolescence” and “Monsters: Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story,” and Disney’s “Andor,” “The Bear,” and “Only Murders in the Building.”

The winners of the Emmy Awards will be announced on Sunday, Sep. 14, at 5:00 p.m. PT at the Peacock Theater in downtown Los Angeles. Fans can watch the event live on the CBS Television Network or stream it on Paramount+.
