According to Spiro, a woman approached his firm, Quinn Emanuel, to share her experience with Buzbee’s firm. The woman had initially contacted Buzbee seeking representation for allegations of sex trafficking and abuse. However, she made it clear that her allegations were not related to Sean “Diddy” Combs, despite Buzbee’s solicitation for potential victims of Diddy.
The woman claimed that Buzbee’s firm asked her about her interactions with Diddy, even though her allegations were unrelated. She also alleged that she was pressured to file a lawsuit anonymously and discouraged from filing a criminal complaint. The woman felt directed and coached by Buzbee’s firm to fabricate a story that did not align with her actual experience.
Spiro’s associate stated that the woman felt forced to lie and was dropped as a client when she refused to change her story. The woman reached out to Quinn Emanuel because she believed Buzbee’s behavior discredited legitimate victims and feared retaliation.
