Leslie Odom Jr. has officially joined the cast of Apple’s highly anticipated series adaptation of “Imperfect Women,” as reported by Variety. The talented actor will be taking on a recurring role in the show, joining an already star-studded cast that includes Elisabeth Moss, Kerry Washington, Kate Mara, Joel Kinnaman, and Corey Stoll. Based on the novel of the same name by Araminta Hall, the series promises to be an unconventional psychological thriller that delves into the complexities of a long-standing friendship among three women.
The story of “Imperfect Women” revolves around a crime that shakes the foundation of the trio’s relationship, exploring themes of guilt, retribution, love, betrayal, and the compromises we make that can forever change our lives. Araminta Hall, the author of the original novel, will also be involved as an executive producer. The pilot will be directed by Lesli Linka Glatter, with Kay Oyegun contributing as a writer and executive producer under her overall deal with 20th Television. The series is a collaboration between 20th Television and Apple Studios.
