It appears that MAGA Mike is grappling with a significant challenge regarding the Trump tax cuts aimed at the wealthy, prompting him to take to Fox News Sunday in an effort to reshape his narrative to the American public.

Johnson’s revised strategy? Simply dismiss the Democrats’ claims.

When pressed about a recent DCCC memo acquired by Axios, which suggested that Republicans could face a loss of their majority in 2026 due to what they term the GOP tax scam, Johnson responded with a confident assertion. The Democrats are planning to hold rallies outside rural hospitals and nursing homes this summer, warning constituents about potential losses in healthcare coverage.

In his defense, Johnson stated, “As I pointed out on the House floor, crafting a lie is a far more laborious endeavor than stating a simple truth. Our Republican representatives will be active nationwide, spreading the straightforward reality that people will see increased take-home pay, more employment opportunities, and an overall better economy thanks to our efforts. So, don’t fall for the misleading narratives.”

The only ones that are going to get a tax break are the rich. We all went through this the last time Trump was president. I can’t believe that people don’t remember.
