Viewers are abandoning ship at MSNBC just weeks after the network introduced a new primetime schedule aimed at reversing its plummeting ratings.
Leaked figures reveal that MSNBC’s ratings have dropped by 41 percent in the primetime demographic and 34 percent in the total day demographic compared to May 2024.
This drop is particularly painful for Jen Psaki, who took over the 9 PM timeslot on May 5, stepping into the shoes of Rachel Maddow.
The latest figures for ‘The Briefing with Jen Psaki’ on May 22 indicate that the program could not even reach the coveted 1 million viewer milestone. In stark contrast, Sean Hannity’s show on Fox News, airing at the same time, boasted 2.3 million viewers that evening.
Psaki’s show also struggled within the 25-54 key demographic, attracting a mere 55,000 viewers, while Hannity drew in 210,000 from the same age group.
