Jiggly Caliente, a beloved star of “RuPaul’s Drag Race” and judge on “Drag Race: Philippines,” has passed away at the age of 44. The news of her death was confirmed by her family in a heartfelt statement shared on her Instagram page. They expressed their deep sorrow at the loss of Bianca Castro-Arabejo, known to the world as Jiggly Caliente, who passed away peacefully on April 27, 2025, surrounded by loved ones.

Described as a luminous presence in the entertainment and advocacy worlds, Jiggly Caliente was celebrated for her infectious energy, fierce wit, and unwavering authenticity. She touched the lives of many through her artistry, activism, and genuine connection with fans worldwide. Her legacy of love, courage, and light will endure, as she will be deeply missed, always loved, and eternally remembered.

Caliente first gained fame as a contestant on Season 4 of “RuPaul’s Drag Race,” where she placed eighth. She later returned to compete on All Stars 6, showcasing her talent, humor, and killer dance moves. In 2022, she became a judge on “Drag Race: Philippines,” serving on the panel for three seasons of the franchise.

Born in San Pedro, Philippines, Caliente moved to America and adopted her drag name from the Pokémon character Jigglypuff. She bravely came out as transgender in 2016, becoming an inspiration to many. In addition to her work on reality TV, Caliente appeared in various shows such as FX’s “Pose,” “Search Party,” and “Saturday Night Live.”

Beyond her television career, Caliente also delved into music, releasing her debut album “T.H.O.T. Process” in 2018. The hip-hop album featured collaborations with RuPaul, Sharon Needles, Peppermint, Alaska, Ginger Minj, Phi Phi O’Hara, and Manila Luzon.
