The American people never elected Elon Musk to have access to their personal data. After the shocking incident of Trump stealing classified documents upon leaving the White House, it should be clear that individuals like Donald Trump cannot be trusted with sensitive information.

Unfortunately, many were distracted by media spectacles, such as calls for Joe Biden to be removed from the Democratic ticket and complaints about Kamala Harris not doing enough interviews. This allowed the potential consequences of a second Trump presidency to go unnoticed.

Some Americans may have hoped for lower prices and additional stimulus checks under Trump’s leadership. However, prices are rising, with eggs reaching record levels. Meanwhile, Elon Musk has been tasked with finding $4.2 trillion to cut taxes for the wealthy.

In his quest for financial gain, Musk has reportedly engaged in illegal activities, including hacking government agencies and stealing personal data from every American. He has been accused of downloading data and installing unauthorized software across various departments.

Recently, students have taken a stand against Musk’s actions. Public Citizen, representing the University of California Student Association, Student Defense, and Public Citizen Litigation Group, filed a lawsuit against the Department of Education for sharing confidential student data with Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE).

It is unlawful for the Department of Education to disclose student data to Musk or his affiliated entities. The lawsuit alleges violations of the Privacy Act, Internal Revenue Code, and Department regulations, accusing the defendants of allowing unauthorized access to federal student financial aid information.

It is crucial to hold individuals like Elon Musk accountable for their actions and protect the privacy and security of American citizens. Your support as a reader helps us continue to shed light on these important issues.
