Teddi Mellencamp is opening up about her affair with horse trainer Simon Schroeder … admitting that she can’t shake the feeling that her stage 4 cancer diagnosis is a form of karma for her past mistakes.
During an emotional episode of “The Jamie Kern Lima Show” podcast, Teddi expressed deep remorse for the pain she caused, particularly to her children, due to the affair that made headlines shortly after her divorce announcement from Edwin Arroyave last year.
Teddi tearfully reflected on whether her cancer diagnosis was a form of retribution, stating, “Nothing goes without payment.”
The aftermath of the affair was chaotic, with Simon Schroeder’s ex-wife, Karli, filing for divorce shortly after the scandal broke. Despite the public scrutiny, Simon has chosen to remain silent on the matter.
Despite facing multiple surgeries to remove brain tumors this year, Teddi received positive news in April when she announced that the tumors had significantly decreased in size.
