Ironically, the individual behind this event, described as unsuccessful in various ventures, might see his birthday celebration derailed by severe weather conditions.
According to The Weather Channel’s prediction for the event scheduled for Sunday night:
The UFC Freedom 250 is under threat from adverse weather conditions on the White House South Lawn, with a 60% probability of thunderstorms, heavy rainfall, and wind gusts reaching up to 34 mph, which could postpone the outdoor matches.
In addition to the storm threat, intense humidity in D.C. is expected to create a heat index in the triple digits, along with significant swarms of mosquitoes and gnats that fighters will contend with inside the cage.
Although the expansive 92-foot canopy will shield the octagon from rain, any lightning strike detected within an eight-mile radius will automatically pause the event for 30 minutes.
