Waymond Lee Passes Away at 72

Waymond Lee, best known for his role in Comedy Central’s “Workaholics,” has passed away at the age of 72.

The news of Waymond Lee’s death was first reported by TMZ, who received confirmation from his wife, Diane Lee, and sister, Norine Lee. The actor succumbed to ALS (Lou Gehrig’s Disease) on December 18 after a lengthy battle with the neurological condition that weakens the muscles in the body.

Lee was initially diagnosed with a brain disease in October, but subsequent testing revealed the presence of ALS.

Waymond Lee portrayed the character Waymond in 44 episodes of the Emmy-nominated comedy “Workaholics.” The show, which aired from 2011 to 2017, followed the antics of three Southern Californian slackers played by Blake Anderson, Adam Devine, and Anders Holm.

Described by his family as a “sentimental person” with a kind heart, Waymond Lee was known for his dedication to his craft and his work ethic.

Apart from his role in “Workaholics,” Waymond Lee also made uncredited appearances in various TV shows and movies including “Everything Everywhere All at Once,” “Bullet Train,” “The Cleaning Lady,” and “Superstore.” His talent and versatility were evident in his diverse body of work.

Waymond Lee is survived by his wife, Diane Lee, and sister, Norine Lee.
