William Shatner, who boldly went where few actors have gone before as Captain Kirk in “Star Trek”, was hurried to the hospital on Wednesday following a sudden medical episode, as reported by TMZ.
Sources close to the situation indicate that the 94-year-old actor encountered troubling issues related to his blood sugar at his Los Angeles residence late Wednesday afternoon.
Reports suggest that Shatner preemptively called for emergency medical personnel, and the paramedics arrived in a Los Angeles Fire Department ambulance.
According to sources, he was subsequently taken to a local hospital for evaluation. Thankfully, Shatner is reported to be in “good” spirits and “resting comfortably.”
