On a rather dramatic evening, a judge appointed by President Biden has been entrusted to handle the criminal proceedings against James Comey, the former FBI Director.

In a response filled with defiance, Comey criticized President Trump following the grand jury’s indictment. “My family and I have understood for years that there are costs to standing against Donald Trump. Yet, we couldn’t envision living any other way,” he stated in a video shared on social media, visibly shaken.

“We refuse to live submissively, and you shouldn’t either. A beloved person recently reminded me that fear is a tyrant’s weapon, and she is correct. But I am unafraid, and I trust you can be too,” Comey passionately declared.
