Back in August 2022, The Gateway Pundit reported fresh insights regarding the FBI’s raid on Mar-a-Lago, shedding light on the agency’s objectives and the puzzling absence of the Spygate documents that were expected to be disclosed following President Trump’s departure from office.
Investigative journalist Paul Sperry faced the twice-acting wrath of social media censorship, with his Twitter account suspended coincidentally during the week of the contentious raid on Mar-a-Lago.
This apparent crackdown followed Sperry’s revelations about the FBI raid, alleging that the agency was on a quest to unearth and obliterate sensitive documents that could implicate them in criminal activities and an attempted coup against the sitting president.
According to Sperry, the FBI agents devoted nine hours to searching for evidence related to the Crossfire Hurricane investigation, an alleged espionage scandal targeting President Trump.
This relentless pursuit of secrecy by the FBI and DOJ underscores a broader narrative wherein the truth about their past actions threatens to unravel the legitimacy of their politically motivated maneuvers, a sentiment articulated through Sperry’s critical remarks: “It’s curious that the FBI didn’t raid Chappaqua or Whitehaven to recover the 33,000 classified documents that Hillary Clinton deleted,” emphasizing that she was merely a former Secretary of State, not a former president.
On a recent episode of her morning show, Maria Bartiromo welcomed former Congressman Devin Nunes to delve deeper into these contentious events.
During their conversation, Maria waved one of the reports that the FBI and the Deep State under the Biden administration were reportedly hunting for during the Mar-a-Lago raid in 2022.
The specific document in question was the Majority (Republican) Report concerning the Intelligence Community Assessment of the Russian influence campaign aimed at the 2016 election.

In today’s exchange with Devin Nunes:
Maria Bartiromo: What does this grand conspiracy reveal if, indeed, it can be pieced together that it has been ongoing since 2015?
Devin Nunes: Well, the essential question is whether this indeed amounts to a conspiracy. Clearly, unless you’ve been living under a rock, it is evident that there’s been a coordinated effort to weaponize U.S. intelligence agencies against the most prominent Republican figure since Ronald Reagan—President Trump. His rise in popularity during 2016, his presidency, and even post-presidency have all been under siege as part of a scheme targeting one of their political rivals. The decision to raiding a former president’s private home is simply not a hallmark of a resilient Republic when intelligence agencies are collaborating with biased media and non-profits, all to favor a single political faction.
Maria Bartiromo: From my perspective, it’s evident that various conspiratorial threads are at play here, particularly regarding the systematic misleading of Congress amidst several investigations over the past seven years associated with the Russia hoax and other political maneuvers aimed at discrediting President Trump and his family.
Devin Nunes: We’ve had numerous discussions throughout this decade, and I recall you saying, time and again, that you sought the release of numerous documents. Despite your positions as chairman and later ranking member of the Intelligence Committee, key documents were withheld. Can you shed light on how Jim Comey and others may have misled Congress regarding these issues?
…Now, with the President appointing me as chair of this intelligence board, we are striving to declassify pertinent information that is now surfacing. Two dates merit emphasis, Maria—one in August 2016 at the Obama White House with Biden and other significant players, including Comey and Brennan, where it was revealed that the Hillary Clinton campaign and DNC were orchestrating a false narrative to frame candidate Trump amid the email scandal. If those emails surfaced, they intended to create the illusion of collusion with Russia. They were aware of this in August 2016. How could all those assembled, who were questioned by various investigative bodies, conveniently forget this in the years that followed?
Maria Bartiromo: Lisa Monaco is now in a prominent role at Microsoft after her previous tenure. Regarding the Majority staff report on the intelligence community’s assessment of Russian influence in the 2016 election, do you believe that was one of the key documents searched for during the raid but ultimately not found?
Devin Nunes: Absolutely, that was supposed to be declassified. We had requested President Trump to declassify it in 2020. Initially, we were informed that it was indeed declassified and expected to be in the archives alongside all relevant documents. However, when we sought clarity from the archives, it was nowhere to be found. This 40-page report is significant and provides a comprehensive exposure of the situation. It was collaboratively developed by House Republicans and is damning in its content, revealing that Russia, at that time, did not foresee a Trump victory, a realization that’s clearly supported by common sense.
