In the chaotic “Human Monies on a Pole” Match against Danhausen, Mysterio also contended with the interference of JD McDonagh, Joe Hendry, and the Minihausens. Danhausen’s victory extended his undefeated streak in WWE and followed his win over McDonagh at Saturday Night’s Main Event. This match may signal the conclusion of Mysterio’s rivalry with The Judgment Day.
Dragon Lee praised his long-time adversary Dominik Mysterio
Dragon Lee and Dominik Mysterio have previously clashed in NXT, competing for the NXT North American Championship. Reflecting on their encounters, Lee noted their strong in-ring chemistry and likened their match to the legendary bouts between Rey Mysterio and Eddie Guerrero.
During an appearance on INSIGHT, Lee remarked:
“There’s a lot of talent, but some of the matches that I have more in my mind is with Dominik, that match with the North American Champion. Dom is so great. I have a good connection with him in the ring. Maybe I’m wrong, but I feel like when I see that match, I feel like that’s much like when Rey Mysterio wrestled with Eddie Guerrero.”
Despite some fans’ dissatisfaction with Mysterio’s current WWE storyline, his situation in AAA differs. Recently, Mysterio teamed up with El Grande Americano for a tag team match only to betray him and align with Omos, becoming the latest member of El Ojo.
