War Room’s Natalie Winters Takes Aim at David Brooks’ Call for Uprising
On April 18, Generation Z’s voice, Natalie Winters, who serves as White House Correspondent and Executive Editor at War Room, decisively dismantled David Brooks’s latest argument published in the New York Times, which advocated for “a comprehensive national civic uprising” against President Trump.
During the introduction of Winters by War Room founder Steve Bannon, he remarked, “David Brooks is a broken man. He is calling for a national mass mobilization of law firms, university professors, and the credentialed class, because, he claims, Trump is on a power rampage aiming to dismantle every institution he cherishes.”
Winters responded with sharp critique, stating, “The Trump Derangement Syndrome has truly metastasized. This piece validates our ongoing discussions in the War Room regarding the Stage 4 meltdown; the color revolution theory; and the significance of civil uprising and protests, which can, at times, veer into violence.”
“Notice the shift in language they employ; it used to be about mass demonstrations and non-violent protests. Now, they are outright calling for a civil uprising,” Winters pointed out.

In critiquing Brooks’ elitist argument, Winters highlighted the key players and institutions behind the newly coordinated global effort to undermine Trump’s presidency.
“If you examine the primary scholar Brooks references throughout this piece, it’s radical Harvard professor Erica Chenoweth,” Winters noted.
“Just two weeks ago, we revealed through our reporting that Harvard, in collaboration with USAID and the State Department, has been funding new resistance labs, working alongside Democratic members of Congress who seem to be operating in tandem with Democratic Attorneys General.”
“These are the same individuals who have been orchestrating the legal battles against Trump for the past four years. They form part of what I term the Global Empire, or at least the mindset of people like David Brooks,” Winters elaborated.
Winters further analyzed the stark contrast between the authentic American experience and the narrow perspective promoted by Brooks and the Globalists.
“As I read this article, it became evident that Trumpism aims to dismantle the established world order—the neoliberal and neocon rules-based order that the Globalists seek to uphold. The fact that War Room’s viewership is surging while the New York Times and Washington Post are faltering illustrates whose reality is more authentic and widely accepted.”
“It’s reminiscent of how these legacy media outlets covered the rise of China. Recall that it was Joe Biden who penned a well-known op-ed in 2008 claiming that China’s ascent would benefit the United States and its citizens.”
“Ultimately, their perception of the ‘American people’ is limited to a small elite group entrenched in the beltway—those who profit from USAID contracts and belong to this Globalist ruling class,” Winters stated.
Winters compared the conflicting visions of America as represented in the media landscape.
“This can be linked to the dynamics at play in the White House with the New Media initiative, and the blatant rejection of the establishment, credentialed class that is visibly uncomfortable with my presence and that of other independent outlets.”
“With the removal of censorship—stripping away those guardrails—no one pays attention to their opinions anymore, as they’ve consistently been misguided. They relied on a global censorship apparatus to prop up their narratives. They believed themselves untouchable; hence, they hide behind foreign-funded think tanks.”
“But now that they face competition, they can’t keep up,” Winters concluded.
Winters criticized the old guard responsible for disseminating American misinformation while collaborating with paid protestors and Globalists.
“The truth is not difficult to convey if you aren’t on the payroll of Globalist, neo-Marxist corporations.”
“As the entire censorship ecosystem and the Globalist power structure unravel, it’s a sink-or-swim moment for these figures. They are beginning to realize they’ve been living on borrowed time, as their ideas are highly unpopular, and without censorship, they have become irrelevant.”
“They may attempt to manipulate and terraform the American populace into accepting their ideologies, but the reality is that people show up to support President Trump without the need for paid protestors or State Department propaganda,” Winters asserted.
As Winters effectively illustrated, for Brooks to incite a civic uprising, he would need to contend with millions of genuine Americans who find his Globalist-elitist ideology lacking.
