Where, one might ask, is the anticipated exposé from Jake Tapper on this unfolding debacle?

The White House has executed a striking removal of all transcripts detailing Trump’s public statements from its taxpayer-funded website, leaving only the inaugural address as a remnant of transparency.

In place of accessible transcripts, the administration now offers a haphazard assortment of YouTube videos—hardly a reliable substitute for meticulous documentation.

CNN, the same network that has been busy amplifying dubious theories about Biden’s cognitive abilities, reported:

JS’s senior White House correspondent S.V. Date noted earlier this spring that the administration was already curtailing the availability of Trump’s transcripts. Last week, he remarked that the White House was “excluding many of his most unhinged comments” from its public records. In response, White House communications director Steven Cheung quipped for Date to “stop beclowning yourself.”

Now, the transcripts have vanished entirely—except for one: Trump’s inaugural address. Government stenographers still dutifully record and transcribe all of Trump’s utterances, including media interactions. However, those records are no longer being made available to the public.

The elimination of readouts from the president’s conversations with world leaders and transcripts of agency press briefings signifies a troubling shift. The public and journalists now lack an official reference to verify the words of the president or his administration members.

A shroud of opacity has descended upon public transparency.

The administration is acutely aware that the number of viewers tuning in to Trump’s comments live is a mere speck on the vast canvas of the U.S. populace.

By erasing these transcripts, the administration aims to obscure Trump’s statements from public scrutiny, likely because they reveal troubling signs of cognitive decline.

This isn’t merely about the frequent contradictions and evasions in Trump’s remarks; there are moments when he seems utterly disoriented, as if adrift in a sea of confusion.

For perspective, recall the media uproar when the Biden administration made minor edits to a transcript. Yet, Trump’s wholesale obliteration of transcripts has provoked little outrage or no book deals exploring this apparent scandal.

The current state of affairs is a farce. The very foundation of presidential transparency is being dismantled, while the so-called watchdogs of democracy fixate on the actions of former leaders.

The removal of these transcripts is not merely an oddity; it represents a significant scandal. The White House has felt the need to justify its decision to obscure the president’s statements, while major media outlets seem disinterested in probing further.

The American populace deserves a leader who is accountable, alongside a media landscape that refuses to be a sycophant. Unfortunately, the current dynamics of both the presidency and the media fall short of these expectations.

One can expect Jake Tapper to continue his line of questioning with Democrats about Biden, all the while conveniently overlooking a cover-up unfolding right before their eyes.
