In a rather ironic twist on the concept of peaceful protest, demonstrations in Los Angeles have escalated to include car fires, assaults on law enforcement, and the looting of local businesses. What was initially framed as a protest against ICE has morphed into a chaotic free-for-all.

But, let’s not pretend this is a shocking departure from the usual script. Historically, many left-leaning protests have devolved into disorderly conduct, particularly those with a well-organized structure. On Monday, for instance, a black pickup truck conveniently delivered supplies to a throng of pro-immigration demonstrators, hinting at a degree of planning behind the madness.

New footage from this ongoing unrest reveals masked individuals breaking into Ootoro Sushi in Little Tokyo, a well-known area near Los Angeles City Hall. They were not just window-shopping; they were making off with cash registers after smashing them open. It begs the question: where has the left’s rallying cry of “Stop Asian Hate” gone amidst this chaos?

Clips circulating on social media capture the scene vividly, showcasing the paradox of waving Mexican flags while masked individuals engage in acts of vandalism and theft, some appearing bewildered by the unfolding events.

A loud crash resonated as a group smashed a register, leaving it vacant on the street, though it remains unclear if any cash was inside.

“They’re taking the other cash register over there,” remarked the observer filming the event.

Another video reveals further chaos inside the restaurant, as masked individuals rummage through the premises, breaking items and exiting with stolen cash registers.

Interestingly, not all attendees were on board with the looting. Some voices in the crowd urged, “Yo, stop that sh*t” and “We don’t do that sh*t, get out!” One even exclaimed, “You’re making us look bad!”

Meanwhile, mainstream media outlets seem to downplay the turmoil, portraying it as an everyday occurrence of “peaceful protest.” One ABC news anchor even went so far as to describe the uprising as “just a bunch of people having fun watching cars burn.” Yes, that was a real comment.
