The financial situation is particularly dire for Randy Jackson, aged 69, who declared bankruptcy in 1996 and later admitted to bankruptcy fraud. Reports indicate that his net worth remains under $100,000.
In contrast, Janet Jackson, 60, the youngest in the family, is the wealthiest, with an estimated fortune of $180 million. Her wealth is primarily due to global record sales surpassing 100 million and a series of successful tours, including her Together Again Tour.
Amid rising tensions, a source close to the family remarked, “The Jackson estate is one of the most lucrative in entertainment history, but it also highlights the complexities of legacy, control, and family dynamics—especially when the financial stakes are this high, and with Paris on the warpath.”
Since April, Paris has been embroiled in an escalating legal dispute with the executors of her father’s estate, John Branca and John McClain. She accuses them of charging excessive fees and lacking transparency.
Paris contends they took over $148 million in compensation, while the estate claims she has already received $65 million in benefits.
