War Secretary Pete Hegseth recently proclaimed a decisive shift away from what he termed ‘woke’ political correctness concerning military standards during a significant address to top military brass in Quantico, Virginia.

In this bold declaration, he confirmed that combat troops will revert to traditional male standards for fitness and training. Additionally, combat units will undergo rigorous field tests, all predicated on these same male standard scores. The central theme of his message emphasized that military lethality and readiness are now being prioritized over inclusivity.

Justifying this shift, Hegseth asserted, “this job is life or death.”

“At every level, we should aim to exceed standards, push boundaries, and foster competition,” Hegseth conveyed to an audience filled with generals and high-ranking officers. “It’s simply common sense and integral to our identity and mission. It should be ingrained in our DNA.”

Hegseth: “Today, at my direction, each service will ensure that every requirement for every combat Military Occupational Specialty (MOS), for every designated combat arms position, reverts to the highest male standards solely because this job is life or death. Standards must not merely be met; they must be exceeded. Moreover, we’re instituting a new combat field test for combat arms units that can be executed in any environment, at any time, with combat equipment. These tests will closely resemble the Army’s expert fitness assessment or the Marine Corps Combat Fitness Test. I’m additionally directing that war fighters in combat roles perform their service fitness test at a gender-neutral, age-normed male standard with a minimum score of above 70%. Everything hinges on physical fitness and presentation.”

According to Task and Purpose,

“War does not acknowledge gender, nor does the enemy,” he stated.

He further clarified that this policy change is not aimed at excluding women from serving in combat roles, though he acknowledged that the outcome might inadvertently lead to such a situation.

“When a job necessitates physical strength to perform in combat, those physical standards must be elevated and gender-neutral,” Hegseth emphasized. “If women meet these standards, that’s fantastic. If not, then so be it. If this results in fewer women qualifying for certain combat positions, that’s an unfortunate yet possible outcome. However, this is not our intention.”

During his address, Hegseth also revealed the initiation of a “combat field test” for combat arms units, establishing a new directive that these units must complete their service test at a gender-neutral, age-normed male benchmark scoring above 70%.

Known for his vigorous investigation into electoral fraud and corruption, his reporting in Maricopa County notably led to the resignation of an election official. His fearless pursuit of the truth resulted in a temporary ban from the Maricopa County press room. However, after a legal battle culminating in a win at the Ninth Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals, TGP and Jordan regained access. He’s eager to continue applying his tenacious journalistic style in the political arena.
