Danielle Fishel and Maitland Ward Feud Explained
Former “Boy Meets World” stars Danielle Fishel and Maitland Ward have been at odds, with Ward recently opening up about their strained relationship. Ward, who did not appear in the spinoff series “Girl Meets World,” revealed that Fishel was reportedly standoffish during a visit to the set.
In an interview with Us Weekly in September 2022, Ward expressed her surprise at Fishel’s cold demeanor, stating that Fishel only said “Hello” and nothing more. Ward expressed her desire to reconcile with Fishel, stating that she was unsure of the reasons behind their rift.
Ward mentioned that she had heard rumors that Fishel may have had issues with former costars returning to the show, but she was unsure why Fishel specifically had a problem with her. Ward described the encounter as awkward, expecting a warm reception similar to the one she received from the male cast members.
In a separate interview with TMZ, Ward suggested that Fishel’s dislike for her may be related to Ward’s adult film career, stating that Fishel “does not like me. I think it has to do with the sex stuff.” Ward also revealed that Fishel unfriended her on Facebook after Ward reached out to congratulate her on her wedding to Tim Belusko.
Despite Ward’s attempts to extend an olive branch, Fishel reportedly did not respond to Ward’s well wishes. The feud between the former costars remains unresolved, with Ward expressing her desire to mend fences with Fishel.
